Vodafone Germany - Vodafone-MeinPC was called as the Best Made for Mobile Music Service and has been awarded in the category of “Best Mobile Service” for its innovative “Vodafone-MeinPC” service, by the “GSM Association Global Mobile Awards 2007″. Photos are automatically resized according to handset specific size of the display. No adaptation has to be done by the user.

“It’s an impressive service that enables low-cost access to content via an internet connection,” explained Rob Conway, CEO of the GSM Association and member of the “GSM Association Award 2007″ jury. “If you want to be successful in the global mobile communications market, you have to be able to unite innovation, competence and quality. And it’s also essential to know what the customer really needs. GSMA congratulates Vodafone Germany on its success.”
Friedrich Joussen, Vodafone Germany’s CEO, said: “The award is proof to us that Vodafone Germany is an innovative force to be reckoned with. I’m delighted that Vodafone has now received its third ‘Mobile Communications Oscar’. We believe this is confirmation that we are a first mover in the German telecommunications market.”

New mobile experience.

As BBC reportes Google has unveiled software it hopes will power a variety of future mobile phones and boost the web on the move. That is great deal because users want to have the same possibility the have got in internet.
“This is going to bring the internet into cell phones in a very cool way,” Andy Rubin, Google’s director of mobile platforms, told the Associated Press news agency. The firm is working with four mobile manufacturers - Samsung, HTC, Motorola and LG - but a Google branded phone was not announced.
The first phones using the so-called Google “software stack” will be available in the second half of 2008.
“This is going to bring the internet into cell phones in a very cool way,” Andy Rubin, Google’s director of mobile platforms, told the Associated Press news agency.
Mr Rubin’s firm, called Android, was bought by Google in 2005 and the software it developed forms the basis of the new stack.
Google has formed the Open Handset Alliance (OHA), made up of 34 companies, including chip manufacturers and handset makers. The move will be seen as a major competitor to Microsoft, Research in Motion, Palm and Symbian, who make the leading software systems for mobiles. Google’s Android software will be provided to handset makers free of charge and could lead to a price war for operating system licenses and potentially cheaper handsets. In the United States mobile networks such as Sprint Nextel and T-Mobile will carry the Google-powered phones.

Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte phones

Nokia is in great request and this is rewarded according to Nokia’s deserts.
But creators are continuing to perfect it with improved design and with other insignificant but very pleasant details. So welcome the Nokia 8800 Arte which costs 1000 EUR and will start shipping later this year.

The new Nokia 8800 Arte and Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte phones feature casings made out of high-end metal and glass materials, as well as a sapphire gem stone and an accent of leather for a sophisticated look and feel. When the steel surface below the display is tapped with a finger, an analog clock appears.

Beyond their elegant design, the phones are also very functional. They’re capable of browsing the Web at high speeds, since they use 3G cellular technology, and offer 1 Gbyte of built-in memory. Other features include a 3.2 megapixel auto focus camera with 8x digital zoom, a MicroUSB connector, and anti-fingerprint coating on the metal and glass casing.

Travel Mobile Phones.

If you are going to travel and want your mobile phone can come in handy while you are traveling you don’t need to be worry about that. Just don’t forget to set up your handset so it will work overseas. It could be the standard mobile-phone network in Europe, and much of the world, called GSM. Some American mobile-phone companies — most notably T-Mobile and AT&T (formerly Cingular) — use the same GSM technology as in Europe. Others (including Sprint and Verizon) use a different system called CDMA that is incompatible with European networks.

For charging you can use Turbo Charge Travel Mobile Phone Charger which will take no more space nor weigh any more than a tube of lip balm and which makes it easy to keep around for an unexpected emergency. It works for such types of mobile phones as Blackberry, Motorola, Motorola RAZR, Samsung, Sony EricssonTC-300, Nokia, LG.

Mobile Virus Came.

Some time or other but this was bound to happen.  First ever computer virus spread by mobile phones has been sent to anti-virus firms.
No infections have been reported and the worm is harmless but it is proof that mobiles are at risk from virus writers. The sound of floodgates opening: the first mobile phone virus has arrived. Symbian is the winning platform. The worm, known as Cabir (Caribe), infects phones and devices running the Symbian operating system. A malicious mobile phone virus could wipe contact numbers and other data stored on the handset, as well as sending out messages purporting to come from the victim’s phone.  “People need to take this seriously and in the same way as we protect our PCs, we need to protect our mobile phones,” said Mr Piercy. What’s next, security patches for mobile phones?

Compare mobile phone deals.

Mobile phone contracts are getting more complicated a source revealed this week. Customers who wanted to compare mobile phone deals across the web were finding it increasingly difficult to find what they wanted. The deals that the networks are coming out with today can bamboozle customers. This is where Best Mobile Contracts can help. A recent study carried out, showed that customers looking for sony ericsson k850i deals often spent more than three hours search for a mobile phone deal, when they could have come to the same conclusion in minutes on Best Mobile Contracts.

The main problem here is choice. There is often so much choice in a rapidly changing environment that customers often feel that the deal they get is out of date the moment they have purchased it. These deals last for a long time, sometimes up to 24 months so you need to make sure that you are happy with your mobile phone contract. Best mobile Contracts specialize in contract mobile phones. They compare deals from all the major retailers and display them in one easy to use web page. The key here is simplicity; you can search for the things that you want out of a mobile phone contract, cutting out all the difficult spiel. They are well worth a visit in my opinion.
