Samsung is a brand that is known for its products since the year 1938. The company ventured in a number of fields until it entered the mobile industry. Samsung soon captured the market with its innovative models and affordable pricings. The latest product by the company is the all new Samsung Galaxy Tab. The new Galaxy tab 10.1 is an upgraded version of the original model. It is based on the latest version of Android- honeycomb that is especially developed for tablets.
The new Tab has quite a number of features. It is packed with 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2 NIVIDIA processor. The screen is 10.1 inches large with a resolution of 128 X 800 pixels ensuring that your visuals are sharp and crisp. The tablet is integrated with two cameras, a front 2 MP camera that makes video chatting easy and a rear 3 MP one that only lets you click some amazing pictures but you can also shoot videos in 720p format. The new model is much thinner and lighter with only 8.66 mm thickness and weighing only 1.25 pounds. The battery life of the tablet is also quite impressive. One can easily play music for 72 hours.

The tablet is available in two variants based on the mode of connectivity i.e. one can either choose the variant with Wi-Fi connectivity or the one that supports 3G. Both the variants have a GPS module. Each variant is further available in two more variants based on their in-built memory, a 16 GB model and a 32 GB model. As far as the pricing of the tablet goes, it is quite affordable. In spite such a huge bundle of features, the 16 GB model costs around $499 and the 32 GB model costs around $599.
The interface of the tablet is quite interesting. The touch screen is responsive to the slightest of gesture. The tablet again came in the limelight when Cat Deelay launched the Samsung Galaxy Tab in stores across the UK. The tab has gain quite hype due its high quality camera also. The popularity of the tablet can be gauged by the fact that recent famous blogger and Photographer Fatsarazzi has explained in a series of videos how the tablet helps him in blogging and especially photography. He explains how the big screen comes handy to analyze the photographs later on and the apps that allows basic editing.
