Google has announced new features for their Google Apps customers – mainly enterprise looking to take their business to the cloud. Firstly, they’ve added features that third-party offerings have provided for a while that’ll allow you to remotely locate your device on a map, remotely reset your PIN or password, and will allow you to make it ring in case it’s somewhere near you.

Those who use Android tablets now have the ability to encrypt data on Android 3.0 Honeycomb, something that was only available for previous versions of Android. Finally, they’ve released a new contact to help make finding your corporate contacts a lot easier. It’s called Google Apps Lookup and can be had in the Android market, but your administrator needs to ensure that the “Shared Contacts” feature is on in the control panel. More details about today’s updates can be found at the Google Enterprise Blog – http://googleenterprise.blogspot.com/2011/04/putting-android-to-work-for-your.html
So, with the new version of the Google Apps Device Policy app, you can quickly secure a lost or stolen Android 2.2+ device by locating it on a map, ringing the device, and resetting the device PIN or password remotely via the new My Devices website. It akso has an option in the control panel to “Encrypt Data on Device”, which will now include requiring encrypted storage on Android 3.0 tablets. Devices will need version 2.0 of the Google Apps Device Policy app.
A new corporate contacts app makes it easier to find and contact people in your organization. Type (or speak) the name or email address of a coworker, and then tap to call, email, IM or send a text message. Lookup pulls information from the Google Apps directory, so admins need to enable “Shared Contacts” in the control panel before employees can use Lookup on their Android 2.1+ devices.

Dont You Know
by Doc_Ren on Jan.17, 2010, under Gadgets, iPhone mania, Mobile Hobby
I’m sure there are things and functions in my phone I dont know my telephon can do. so, I’ve find some intresting tips about but not sure it really works. However you can chack out it.
FIRST Emergency
The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112. If you find yourself out of the coverage area of your mobile; network and there is an emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked. Try it out.
SECOND Have you locked your keys in the car?
Does your car have remote keyless entry? This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone: If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their mobile phone from your cell phone.
Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other ‘remote’ for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk).
Editor’s Note: It works fine! We tried it out and it unlocked our car over a mobile phone!’
THIRD Hidden Battery Power
Imagine your mobile battery is very low. To activate, press the keys *3370# Your mobile will restart with this reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge your mobile next time.
FOURTH How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone?
To check your Mobile phone’s serial number, key in the following digits on your phone: * # 0 6 #
A 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. When your phone get stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally useless. You probably won’t get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole it can’t use/sell it either. If everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones.

There are major changes have taken place in the world due to the rise of using the cellular phones in our everyday life. Mobile phone today is not only system of communication between people but it has become a true multi-functional computer with game consoles, cameras, email systems, text messengers; it is carriers of entertainment and business data, nodes of commerce as well. With the help of your handset you can read books, watch TV, play games, listen your favorite music and more.
More and more companies of all sizes use a Call Conferencing for their teleconferencing needs promoting group communication and business strategy. An Audio Conference accommodated more than 3 people can allow even to the smallest business to be keeping in touch with their partners and clients trough Conference Call. And that is great deal!
By the way, how it all started? May by from the first audio recording that was made 17 years before Thomas Edison invented the phonograph, in 1860 in French by recording a folk song? “It’s magic,” audio historian David Giovannoni said, “It’s like a ghost singing to you.” This is a real historic find, the earliest known recording of sound. And it doesn’t take anything away from Thomas Edison, of course because Thomas Edison is generally credited as the first person to have recorded sound, as you know. He was the first person to have recorded (sound) and played it back. So, the best way to be ready for the future is to use newest achievements of science and engineering.

In case you want to tell I love you the bunch of roses is one of the best way to show that. If you want to show how much you care the box of dark, milk or white chocolate is perfect solution of course. A classic perfume would be quite appropriate in case you don’t know what her signature fragrance is then you can’t go wrong with one of these. But if you want to melt her heart there’s nothing like bestowing a jeweled one that is mounted with a diamond. Diamond jewelry sparkles in the light, reminding the wearer of the person who gave it to her each time it scintillates.
If she loves music and dance and maybe needs maximum storage for music, photos and videos, choose the sleek iPod classic in a black or white case. Its 160GB hard drive has the capacity to store huge quantities. With an optional S-video cable, it’s possible to connect iPod Video to a projector or TV so she can both enjoy images in a large format. Print Your Photos.
by Doc_Ren on Feb.08, 2008, under Gadgets, Mobile Hobby
You are no limited now to print out whatever you want though it were your important messages, contact data, your to-do lists or your loved photos and that’s great! Even you can do it right from your mobile phone, no PC is needed. There are a number of choices about what to do with the images that you capture on your PC, camera or mobile phones. Of course you can store them electronically or share on photo hosting sites but I prefer to decorate my living space with all my photos I’ve taken over the years. It looks funny and very stylish.
In fact today’s photo printers can produce excellent results. All what you need is just to take a picture with your print-ready camera or phone and to send it to the printer. Sometimes you may not be able to see the difference between digital prints you made at home and those that are output at a local lab and high quality inkjet cartridges for your Epson, HP, Canon or Lexmark printer will help you very much on the way. You can easily find any printer cartridges information you are interested online. Besides that if you want to get high quality images then you will not do without good inkjet photo paper to print onto. Print you photos to your and everybody’s delight!
